Scholarships and Financial Aid by The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan

1. District Scholarships: The Scholarships are granted to the non- professional students of the Punjab Province on the basis high score of their last public examinations. 
2. Professional Merit Scholarships: The scholarship is awarded on the basis of high merit in the last public examination, to the student of professional education only. 
3. HEC - Japanese Need Based Scholarships: The scholarship is awarded to the needy students of Natural and Social Sciences. 
4. HEC Meritorious Need & Based Scholarships: The scholarship is awarded to the meritorious & needy students of the life sciences. 
5. Pakistan Bait-ul-Mall Scholarships: The scholarship is awarded to the needy students having family income less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. 
6. Mora Scholarships: The Students who deserve Zakat Fund and their family income is less than Rs. 6000/- per month are eligible to apply. 
7. Syeda Mubarik Begum Scholarships: The scholarship is Merit and Need based. (For girls students only) 
8. University Scholarships:
• Merit Scholarship is awarded on the basis of marks in last examination in FA/FSc/BA/BSc/BCom
• Need Based Scholarship is granted to the students having income less than Rs. 5000/- per month.
9.  Fee-Remission: Fee remission is granted to Hafiz-e-Quran, orphans, brother/sister, position holder (1st, 2nd & 3rd position in each class) and needy students. 
10. Financial Assistance: Financial assistance is granted on the basis of need and students’ academic performance.
11. NBP Loan: The loan is given to the needy students who have 70% marks in their last examination.

Each application must be supported by attested copies of:-
(i) B.A/B.Sc/ B.Com result card 2011. (ii) CNIC of applicant & Guardian.
(iii) Domicile. (iv) Income Certificate/Salary Slip/Pension Copy etc.
(v)3 Photos (vi) All utility bills (vii) Bayan Halfi on Rs.20 stamp paper
(viii) Fee Challan (ix) Hostel Challan Eligibility: (i) He/she has secured 60% marks in the examination of B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com in 2011. (ii) He/she is having Punjab domicile. (iii) He/She is not receiving any other scholarship.
