Death of Feudalism to Make

The Constitution of Pakistan is entitled “Islamic Republic which means the state is an Islamic democracy. The ground reality is that It is neither democratic nor Islamic. It is feudalistic. It may be defined as: ‘Dictatorial rule by a combine of landlords, jagirdars, waderas, sardars, khans, chaudhries, industrial lords and religious despots.” The entire Pakistani society is dominated by these potentates. They have established mini-dictatorships in their respective areas of influence where people spend their lives as willed by them. People are denied human rights and all kinds of individual, social or economic liberty. They have no say in any walk of life. Every time elections are held they have to vote for their masters. Consequently only feudal lords or their kins return to the Assemblies to form governments at Provincial and Federal levels. These governments are of the feudals, by the feudals for the feudals and not of the people, by the people for the people.
