Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan
The Bahauddin Zakariya University is a general University, providing instruction in both Arts and Science subjects.
College of Agriculture was established in 1989.
The College of Engineering & Technology was established in 1994.
Department of Commerce was started from November, 1996.
BBA classes were started in the Department of Business Administration from October, 1996.
Bachelor of Computer Science has also been introduced in the Department of Computer Science from November, 1996. B.Sc.
Electrical Engineering class was started in November, 1997.
Information Technology Centre was established in July 1999.
IMS is now one of the largest business school of the country with well over 1000 students and a permanent faculty of 33 teachers with a large complex of buildings providing all possible facilities at one place. These, together with the congenial environment offered by a very attractive University Campus, set in unspoiled countryside, will make most memorable stay at the Campus. The goal of the Institute is to prepare students for a successful management career. Since its inception, the Institute has endeavored togive its students an education that enables them to face any challenge in their professional life. Up till now, more than 1500 students have graduated from the Institute who occupy middle and senior management positions in the hierarchy of national and multinational organizations.
The main objective of the University is to provide facilities of higher education and research to the population of the southern region of the Punjab, covering the Civil Administrative Divisions of Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan. The University fulfils the triple function of teaching, affiliation and an examining body, and has 79 affiliated colleges which include such old and prestigious institutions as the Government College, Bosan Road, Multan (formerly known as Emerson College), the Government College, Sahiwal and the Nishtar Medical College, Multan, and NFC college of technology, Multan.

Admissions
Admissions are given the utmost importance at Business Administration Department to ensure that students with appropriate scholastic abilities and personality traits are inducted. The contest for admission in the Department is extremely competitive and applications are received from all over Pakistan.
Admissions Programs are granted to the applicants through a rigorous screening process. There is an Admission Test, test measures the students aptitude in verbal, quantitative, general knowledge, and analytical areas.
