SSE - Admission Test
For domestic students the SSE Admissions Test is mandatory; SATs are optional.
Structure of the SSE Test
- Compulsory Section - Basic Mathematics MCQs Time: 30 minutes
- Subject Sections - Advanced Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics Time: 45 minutes for each section

No specific book for SSE is available. However; ECAT By Muhammad Idrees contains questions that meet the required level of SSE Exam for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
Other foreign books available in the market are SAT-II Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics Level IC, and Mathematics Level IIC.
Business Management (MBA)
Admission Criteria
Admission to the Programme is based entirely on merit. There are no age restrictions. Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria:
- A minimum of sixteen years of education resulting in a Masters or Bachelors degree from an Higher Education Commission recognized University.
- Entrance Test (GMAT or LMAT)
- Work experience (preferred but not compulsory)
- Interview performance
Entrance Test
LUMS offer two options for a propect student. Applicants can take either GMAT or LMAT. Both tests carry equal weightage for MBA Admissions.
GMAT - Graduate Management Admission Test
Graduate Management Admission Test is offered as a computer adaptive test worldwide. Apart from official test scores that LUMS will require directly from Educational Testing Service (ETS) USA, applicants must submit or mail a copy of the unofficial GMAT score as soon as they take the test.
The LUMS code for receiving GMAT scores from ETS is 0679.

LMAT - LUMS Management Admission Test
LMAT is offered as an internal test of LUMS. LMAT taken more than two years before the admission deadline will not be considered valid.

Interview Performance
A merit for interview short listing is established on academic ranking, work experience (if any) and test score performance of the candidates. Those who qualify this comparative ranking are called for interview.
