Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (commonly referred to as SZABIST) is a Pakistani university, with headquarters at Karachi and campuses at Islamabad, Karachi, Larkana and Dubai. The institute offers programs in Business Administration, Computer Science, Media Sciences, Social Sciences, Law and Development Economics.

Established through an Act of Sindh Assembly (Sindh Act No. XI of 1995) and is approved and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a degree granting institution. SZABIST has campuses in Karachi, Islamabad, Larkana & Dubai. It is a registered member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), Asia University Federation (AUF) and the Association of SAARC Universities (ASU).
The institute also has had its MBA program listed in BusinessWeek and Asia Inc as amongst the best in Asia[citation needed]. SZABIST invites visiting professors, politicians and other professionals for short lectures and this aspect gives the institute a great degree of competition.

• The school offers programs in management sciences, computer sciences, media sciences, law, economics and social sciences. Some of the programs offered are external programs offered in collaboration with universities in the UK. Following is a list of offered degrees: Management Sciences
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MS) in Management Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management Sciences. Computer Sciences
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Sciences, Master of Science (MS) in Computer Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Sciences.
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Media Studies, Bachelor of Sciences (BS) in Social Sciences and Economics, Master of Science (MS) in Social Sciences & Economics and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Sciences & Economics.
• Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology offers external programs in Law (LLB) and Economics & Development (BSc) in collaboration with the University of London. It also offers the BABS program with the University of Wales, UK.

• 13 Scholarships are available for Karachi Campus.

• Scholarship covers tuition fee, books, transportation, boarding & lodging and a monthly stipend for complete MBA 2 year Program

• SZABIST Students who have secured admission in MBA 2 year program are eligible to apply on prescribed form.

Sindh Government Endowment Board Scholarship

• Available for BBA, BS Computing, BS Social Sciences and Economics, BS Media Sciences, MBA and MS programs.

• 40 Scholarships are available for Karachi Campus.

• Scholarship covers Admission and Tuition fee for complete Program

• SZABIST Students with Sindh Domicile are eligible to apply on prescribed forms.

Overseas Pakistani Foundation Scholarship

• Available for all programs of SZABIST.

• Children’s of Overseas Pakistanis enrolled at SZABIST are eligible to apply on SZABIST Scholarship Forms.

• Scholarship covers Maximum 100,000 per year per student fee.

• Currently there are 10 Scholarships available for 2008 only.

SZABIST Need based Scholarships

• Available for BBA, BS Computing, BS Media and MBA (Day) Programs only

• SZABIST Students can apply on SZABIST Scholarship Forms.

• Scholarship covers up to 50% Tuition fee and will be for one year only.

• Renewable for complete Program subject to meeting minimum CGPA criteria. Bachelors (3.0) and Masters (3.25)
