GMAT Score and Reporting in Pakistan

On the day you take the GMAT, before you begin the test, you may select up to five (5) GMAT Programs to receive your Official Score Report. These recipients will receive the Official Score Report within 20 calendar days of your test. This service is covered by your registration fee. Once you have made your selections, you will not be able to change or delete them. A fee is required to send an Additional Score Report. Fee for additional score report = $28 each.

Score

The GMAT exam yields four scores: Verbal, Quantitative, Total, and Analytical Writing Assessment, which are reflected in your score report. Each score is reported on a fixed scale and will appear on the official GMAT score reports that you and your designated score recipients (graduate management programs) receive. Your score report includes all GMAT scores from tests taken in the last five (5) years. The contact and demographic information that was required for you to register for the test will also appear on your score report. In Pakistan, as you are applying for LUMS or IBA, you must take the GMAT well before the deadline.

Canceling Your Scores

Immediately after you complete the test—but before you view your scores—you will have the option to cancel your scores. You cannot cancel your scores after they are displayed or reported to you. If You Cancel Your Scores:

Best Preparation

You’ve probably heard the quote (originally credited to Alexander Graham Bell): Preparation is the key to success. When it comes to test taking, these are words to live by.

  • Your scores cannot be reinstated.
  • You will not be eligible for a refund of any test fees.
  • The score cancellation will remain a part of your permanent record and will be reported on all future score reports.
  • You must wait 31 days to retake the exam

Any other cancellation of your scores is at the sole discretion of GMAC and/or Pearson VUE. If You Do NOT Cancel Your Scores:

  • You can choose to see and print a copy of your unofficial scores for the multiple-choice sections of the GMAT test (Quantitative, Verbal, and Total) at the test center.
  • An Official Score Report, including the scores for the Analytical Writing Assessment, will be made available to you and your designated GMAT using programs within 20 days after you take the test.
