NUST Announced undergraduate Programs 2013
The process of entrance test is delinked from admission process.
During an admission cycle, candidates can appear in entrance test more than once to improve their score, and apply for admission separately on the basis of best score when applications are invited tentatively in May June.
There will be two types of entrance tests:
  1. Computer Based 
  2. Paper Based 
Computer based entrance tests for all disciplines will be held in multiple sessions at NUST Campus Islamabad according to the following schedule:
First Session (NET 1) April-May
Second Session (NET2) - June-July
Paper based entrance test will be conducted in Karachi and Quetta only once July,
• In July session candidates will have an option either to appear In Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test at Islamabad.
• In Computer based Entrance Test, candidates can choose the date and session attest according to their convenience.
• Online Registration Form for NET I and NET 2 will be available on NUST website jst.edu. k tentatively in 2 week of March and I week of May 2013 respectively.
A Candidate must be in possession of CNIC or Form B or NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis).
A Admission process for all undergraduate programs is conducted once a year to facilitate commencement of academic year In Fall.

Eligibility Criteria

• Intermediate or an equivalent qualification, such as an Overseas High School Certificate / British General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) 1 international Baccalaureate advances Placement.
• All non-PA FSc stream candidates need to obtain equivalence certificates from IBCC to apply for the program.
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks each in Matric and intermediately equivalent exams Note Candidates with 0/A level end other equivalent foreign qualifications have to provide equivalence certificates obtained from IBCC, Pakistan, with minimum 60% marks.

How to Apply

A candidate / applicant can submit the NET and Admission forms available Online at NUST website www.nustvdupk after providing his valid email address. On submission of the completed form, the candidate will print fee invoice and deposit the processing fee as prescribed in the invoice in any branch of Habib Sank Limited (HBL) or Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Ltd

Registration from for NET 1 (April) Registration starts 15 March 2013 Registration ends 05 April 2013
Registration from for NET 2 (July) Registration starts 01 May 2013 Registration ends 30 May 2013
From for Admission on NET basis Registration starts 01 June 2013 Registration ends 30 June 2013
From for admission on SAT basis Registration starts 01 June 2013 Registration ends 30 June 2013

• Computer Based Test April-May & June-July 2013
• Paper Based lest (July 2013 only)

Schedule of Entrance Test

Computer Based Entrance Test — Islamabad (tentatively) Entrance Test at Islamabad will be computer based. Detailed instructions along with mock test will Ire uploaded on NUST website for practice. Candidates will have the option to select the test date and session after verification of the receipt of entrance test fee.

NET-I

Engineering ,MBBS BDS / Applied Biosciences, Business Studies / Social Sciences , Architecture I industrial Design held on April-May 2013

NET-2

Engineering MBBS / BDS / Applied Biosciences ,Business Studies I Social Sciences , Computer Science and BS Mathematics , Architecture industrial design held on june-july 2013
Note: Candidates are required to bring the print of their Admit Cards to the test center along with original CNIC or document with photo to such as Passport. Original Matric/FSc certificate bearing photograph etc.
Candidates of this category have 10 submit then SAT Reasoning /SAT Subject Test scores (as applicable) directly from College Board. USA to NUST latest by 15th July 2013. NUST Institutional Code to receive SAT scores is 2790 It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure entry of SAT Score on SAT Registration Form and submission of hard copy of the same to Undergraduate Section, NUST, sector H 2.
