Entrepreneurship Development Program for the promotion of Agriculture in Sindh
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, in collaboration with the Sindh Board of Investment is organizing the Entrepreneurship Development program for the Promotion of Agriculture in Sindh. With a vision to utilize the potential of our educated youth as well as to optimally utilize our natural agrarian resources, the program aims to develop Key competencies in future entrepreneurs in the field of Agriculture.

Program Highlights:

  • 6-month diploma program with 4 months of class room training and 2 months of applied on-farm field training
  • In-class training consisting of essential business management courses including marketing, finance, accounting & entrepreneurship along with a course on modern agrarian practices
  • Training program is FULLY FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF SINDH< which includes cost of training, books, stationery, and transport for field activities. A reasonable monthly stipend will also be given. FREE lodging and food will be provided in IBA Hostel, on need basis within available budget

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should be between 20 and 45 years of age, holding Sindh domicile with a minimum Bachelors degree in any discipline.

Application Procedure:

Application Forms are available online on the IBA & SBI websites and at the EDP Program Office. Completely filled Application Forms should reach the EDP Program Office latest by the 15th of May, 2013 accompanied by a Demand Draft/Pay order of Rs. 500 in favor of “IBA Karachi” Details of Test and Interview will be sent by post and communicated via website.
