Schedule for Admission

Application forms to be issued from HBL, LUMHS Branch, and Jamshoro with effects from: 16.09.2013
Last Date of Submission of Application forms at the Postgraduate Medical Center, LUMHS: 30.09.2013
Display of list of Eligible Candidates: 03.10.2013
Issuance of Admit Slip with Dates and Venue of the Entry Test: 01.11.2013
Entry Test for M.Phil/M.Sc./MPH/Diploma and MCPS and will start from: 18.11.2013
M.D. /M.S. Part-I Examination for Degree Courses: 25.11.2013
Entry Test for FCPS-II Courses: 27.11.2013
Commencement of Academic Session 2014 from: 01.01.2014

Eligibility Criteria for Degree/Diploma & MCPS Coerces in Medical & Dental Disciplines

MBBS/BDS from any of the recognized Universities as mentioned in schedule I & II of Pakistan Medical & Dental council.
Valid registration with PMDC as Medical / Dental practitioner
One year resident House job in PMDC recognized institution, at least Six Months in relevant discipline/its allied specialty or 05 years experience after Graduation is mandatory.
Entry test will be conducted for FCPS-II training courses and selection will be done on merit and as per availability of Seats/Stipend
NOTES: The postgraduate Selection committee reserves the right to cancel any Admission. However, the candidates shall have the right to appeal within Two weeks period.
Selection in all postgraduate Degree courses will be according to availability of seats / stipend.
Inservice candidates will have to obtain No objection certificate from their Employer while applying for in postgraduate courses, failing which their application will not be accepted.
