Competitive exam for the post of Tehsildar through PPSC - Punjab Public Service Commission is comprised of two major parts:

• Written Examination
• Psychological Assessment and Interview

Written Examination

The total marks of written part is 400. Out of these written narrative part is of 200 marks and other 200 marks are based on multiple choice questions (MCQ).
The written narrative part of the eaxm. is consisted of:

Paper 1 - English

• Essay - 50 marks
• English Composition - 50 marks

Paper 2 - Urdu

• Essay - 50 marks
• Urdu Composition - 50 marks

MCQ - Multiple Choice Questions

• Paper 3 - Pakistan Studies/Islamic Studies/General Knowledge 100 marks
• Revenue Laws 100 marks MCQ
  • Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1967
  • Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887
  • Land Acquisition Act

Psychological Assessment/Interview

Marks of Psychological Assessment/Interview are 200. Only those candidates, who qualify the written examination, will be called for Psychological test and viva voce.

Passing Marks

Pass Marks in written examination

1. 33% marks in each individual paper.
2. 50% marks in the aggregate of written portion of examination (0.50 marks or more will be rounded to 1.0).
