  1.     What is the ultimate source of energy for all living things? How is this energy trapped and cycled among living things.
  2.      What is a reprocessing plant? What is the importance of such a plant for a country deficient in conventional energy sources?
  3.   What is a transistor. Briefly describe its impact on our daily life.
  4.   How is malaria acquired by man. Which preventive measures should be adopted against malaria at the individual and the community level.
  5.   Name the raw materials used in the manufacture of glass. Where re the deposits of these materials found in Pakistan?
  6.   Name the genetically transmitted diseases of man. How can the danger. of such diseases be reduced in a community.
  7.   Discuss the merits of establishing several smaller industrial units as against few but very large units with particular reference to sugar and cement.
  8.   Enumerate various petrochemical products which can be manufactured from natural gas. Is it advisable to burn this gas as a source of heat?
