Feudals anti-education stance

The well known feudal apathy towards education has manifested in depriving the National Assembly of its proud status of being a graduate House of Representatives. Was it a democratic measure taken by the feudals on the plea that since greater part of the nation was uneducated and undergraduates they stand no chance to contest elections. This kind of thinking indicated the anti- education tilt of their character. Wasn’t the graduation provision an incentive for many to improve their academic qualifications to become fit for the membership of the Assemblies. Did the feudals wish to keep this nation uneducated for all times to come. By doing so they had not only tried to solve one of their personal problems in that many of them who held fake degrees were henceforth free to enjoy sound sleep in the House if the legislation being discussed was found passing far above their heads. It also opened the highway to take their uneducated sons and daughters to reach the Assembly halls without hindrance.
