Similarly, our rites and rituals might have been useful and desirable. But they have outlived their utility. We must accept this fact. They can’t stand the onslaughts of the changed times. They must be changed or renovated. The tree must shed its dry and pestilence- stricken leaves to welcome new and green leaves. No way out. There is no place for orthodoxy and conservation. We see change in Nature. Nothing is static in this dynamic world. Love for outdated norms which do not fit in with the present day setting creates bottlenecks and hurdles in the way of progress and prosperity. To say—our times were better—is to shut our eyes both to present and future. Single-track mindset leads to loss only. Welcome change with a frolic head. Whatever is inevitable must be welcomed.
