UNO Serve human tragedies

This not does mean that UNO is a meaningless institution. It is serving a lot in human tragedies. The Refugees are helped to alliterate their miseries. Education is promoted and the poor countries are helped to face human tragedies.

The Political Committee of the U.N. Assembly has urged all countries to make the maximum possible efforts to reach a quick agreement on an effective ban on development, production, and storage of all kinds of chemical weapons and has urged the destruction of existing chemical arms. The Committee’s resolution asked the Geneva Disarmament Conference to give a high priority to the subject of chemical weapons during its negotiations.
