Government measures for Development of small scale Industries

Government of Pakistan is fully aware of the importance of small scale and cottage industries since independence 1947, and has taken various measures for the development of small scale industries. Government set up East Pakistan Industrial Corporation in 1957.

An all Pakistan Cottage and’ Small Industries conference was held at Lahore in 1962. The recommendations of the conference’ were sympathetically considered & implemented by the government. The West Pakistan Small Industrial Corporation was established in1965.
