Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi was established in October, 1977 as a result of bifurcation of BISE Sargodha under Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act No. XIII of 1976.

Confined Districts

The BISE Rawalpindi has been confined to the Districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi. (The defunct Civil Division of Rawalpindi).

BISE - Rawalpindi

MAin Objective

The main objective of the Board is to hold and conduct all examinations pertaining to Secondary School Certificate, Intermediate Classical Languages and such other examinations as may be assigned by the Controlling Authority /Government of Punjab. Main source of Income of the Board is the examination and other fee collected from the candidates. No grant-in-aid from Govt. or any financial Institution is involved.
Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Rawalpindi is an autonomous body working under the administrative control of Govt. of the Punjab Education Department, which conducts SSC Intermediate, Languages CT. OT.PTC. D.M. and Drawing Masters Examinations and handles other related matters. It grants for affiliation to secondary and Higher Secondary institutions.

Jurisdiction of the Board

Four civil districts i-e Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Rawlpindi.

Syllabus

Syllabus for SSC, Inter, Languages, can be obtained from the Enquiry section on payment. Question papers of previous years for SSC, Intermediate and other Examinations can be obtained from the Inquiry on payment.

Admission form for SSC, Inter Languages CT.OT.DM. can be obtained from the authorized branches of Habib Bank Ltd.
