Analytical Writing Assessment Essay
This section is a part of Analytical Writing Assessment. The Analytical Writing asks you to provide more focused responses to questions, to more accurately present your skill in responding to the task presented.
The Analytical Writing consists of two separately timed analytical writing tasks:
- 30-minute “Analyze an Issue” task: This section gives you to make an opinion on an issue of broad interest followed by specific instructions on how to respond to that issue. You are required to evaluate the issue, explore its complexities, and present an argument with reasons and examples to support your ideas.
- 30-minute “Analyze an Argument” task: This section requires you to explore the argument according to given instructions. You will need to consider the logical correctness of the argument rather than to agree or disagree with the reasoning it focus.
