Bachelor Admission Procedure and Eligibility
For admission in UET, an applicant have qualified the F.Sc. (Pre- Engineering) with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics from a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan or an equivalent recognized examination. However, Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science shall be acceptable only for CS, CS & Engineering, City & Regional Planning (CRP), Architecture and Product & Industrial Design. Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics and Statistics shall be acceptable only for admission in Computer Science, City & Regional Planning (CRP), Architecture and Product & Industrial Design.
An applicant should have:
obtained at least 60% marks in F.Sc/ ICS/ DAE/ B.Sc/ B.Tech(Pass) Examination excluding Sports and Hafiz-e-Quran marks.
appeared in the entry test.

Postgraduate Admissions and Eligibility
MS and M.Phil.
Eligibility for admission is that the applicant should have passed his undergraduate (16 years equivalent) degree with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 3.00 out of a maximum of 4.00. For M.Sc. in Applied Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics, the candidate has to secure a minimum of 60% marks in B.Sc. (14 years) as well as a minimum marks of 60% in the relevant subject.
Test Requirement
General Aptitude Test (GAT) General test by NTS is required for admission to all programs except M.Sc. in Applied Physics / Applied / Mathematics.
PhD Admissions
Candidate must has earned a M.Sc./ M.Phil degree in the relevant discipline with 60% marks or with a CGPA of 3.0/4.0.
Candidates should meet HEC's admission test criterion.
