Causes of deterioration in governance

From a puritan Pakistan in 1958 to a crime ridden, corruption infested, poverty dominated, illiterate Pakistan of today it holds 147th position, in the matter of good governance, among the comity of nations consisting-of about 158. This is the work of bad governance that could not maintain, improve and present a well managed image of itself to the people. The state of law and order has now deteriorated to the point where the criminal sector of the community is indulging freely in street crime at an unprecedented scale. The narrow minded religious Islamic groups are fanning fire of sectarianism in the name of Islam and perverted jehadis have taken to terrorism killing the friend and foe indiscriminately. Suicidal bomb blasts indicate the extent of brain washing that has converted simple Muslim youth into fanatics. The question is what has turned a docile nation into a society ruled by dacoits, killers, rapists, saboteurs, burglars, kidnappers and politico-religious criminals. A probable answer is given below:
