About - Doddinghurst Infant School

Opened in January 1970, Doddinghurst Infant School aim to provide a happy, safe, caring and stimulating environment for children to reach their full potential and become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. The school very recent improvement was in 2004 where buildings were extended and improved. Doddinghurst Infant have seven well resourced classroom, a large hall for assemblies, physical education and music and used also as dining hall during lunchtime.

From September 2011, it is statutory that all schools are able to admit children full-time from the age of the child’s 4th birthday. Doddinghurst Infant School has Single Point of Entry, which means that all children can start the reception class at the same time instead of in different terms across the academic year. children to staggered their entry point across a four week period in September.
