About - Eltham College Junior School

The Junior School is an integral part of the whole school, with its own Head - Mr Edmund Cavendish - who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school. Although part of the whole school, the Junior School (C3-C6) retains its own identity, thus enabling each boy to feel part of a smaller unit and to have a sense of identity and belonging. Each boy is definitely treated as an individual.

Class 3 to Class 6September
For the 7+ entry (class 3) there is no formal examination, but there is an assessment with the Master of the Junior School and the Director of Studies, with tests in reading, language skills and mathematics. This lasts about one hour fifteen minutes in total.
