About - Frobisher Primary and Nursery School

Frobisher Primary and Nursery School is larger than the average-sized primary school and located on Frobisher Drive to the north of Jaywick and south west of Clacton-on-Sea. The school is a friendly learning environment in which every child is encouraged to try their best and achieve well. Frobisher is a learning community where we "Aim High, Work hard, Achieve together"

New reception intake is on September. The admission number for academic year 2014/2015 is 45. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. If the application exceeds on the published admission number, oversubscription set of criteria will apllied on a priority order. In the event of oversubscription within the set criteria the proximity (straight line distance is calculated by the LA) of the childs home to the school will be given highest priority over the above criteria. Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above, other than Looked After Children.
