About - Great Leighs Primary School

Great Leighs Primary is a delightful village school situated in an attractive rural setting on the perimeter of Great Leighs village. It was originally built in 1981 but extended in 2002 and again in 2007 in line with housing developments in the village. It has eight classrooms altogether, four in the original building and four in the extension

There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area . In the event of oversubscription it is governed by set of criteria. However if oversubscription is within any of the given criteria; thus proximity (straight line distance) of the child's home to the school will be given highest priority.
