About - Hogarth Primary School Brentwood

That was during the academic year 1953/1954 that Infant and Junior School were opened but in separate buildings on the same site. The two school amalgamated in September 1982 to formed Hogarth Primary School. On the site there is a pre school unit of Gooseberry Green Pre School that offers education and care for children aged 2 to 5 years old.

Admissions are controlled from Essex Local Authority where all application and policy is in accordance of the LA Department. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area . If the exceeds base on the available published admission number which is 30 for academic year 2014/2015 , allocated places will be determined by set of criteria in a given order. However if oversubscription is within any of the given criteria; thus proximity or straight line distance of the child's home to the school will be given highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances may over ride the above.
