Children are entitled to a full time place in school at the beginning of the term after their fifth birthday. The Governing Body at Holy Trinity Primary School has received permission to admit children younger than rising five on the following basis: Spring and Summer Term rising fives to be admitted part-time from the previous September. “The admission of a four year old is conditional upon that child receiving no more than five grant funded sessions of early year education per week. If a parent has registered their child for more than five such sessions per week, then a place or sessions can be refused or withdrawn so that the five are not exceeded.”Priority for admissions to the school up to the NIA is settled on the following criteria: Firstly, a brother or sister attending the school at the time of application and determination and secondly, the straight line distance between home and school. In the case of Community and Voluntary Controlled schools exceptional medical reasons may be considered if supported by medical evidence, irrespective of the previous criteria.
