The schools main priority at Leedon is to ensure that we keep all your children safe, both physically and emotionally, whilst at the same time encouraging them to take risks in work and play that will make them confident citizens for the future.

You will be invited to a meeting at the school in the summer term before your child is due to start at Leedon Lower. Before your child starts school their key worker will hopefully visit you and your child at home. This will be an opportunity for your child to meet them in familiar surroundings so that when your child attends his/her first session he/she will feel more confident. It will also be very helpful to the key worker if you tell them as much as possible about your child so he/she will settle more easily.
