Leigh Beck Junior School is a large Junior School on Canvey Island with exceptional grounds and facilities. The school have two very large playing fields, two playgrounds and two sets of adventure playground equipment. It also has a wildlife zone . kitchen garden, outdoor learning center and great information communication technology equipment including stand alone computers, laptops, interactive whiteboards and visualizers.

Children Looked After and children attending the partner infant school, who request a place at the junior school will be allocated a place providing an application is received by the closing date. In the event of oversubscription any remaining places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given, (for applications received after the start of year 3, Children Looked After will be given priority ahead of all other applicants.
