About - Little Parndon Primary School

Little Parndon schools were opened in 1955 but during the year 2000 the infants and Junior school were close and a new amalgamated primary school established. Little Parndon Primary School became one of the largest primary schools in Harlow having a capacity for 420 children. Our large building provides excellent space and facilities to support children’s learning needs but we are also extremely fortunate to have extensive school grounds that make it a wonderful place for children to explore and learn. On its site there is a privately-run nursery which inspected separately by OFSTED.

The local authority will provide the Admissions Committee with a list of ranked applications for children wishing to enter the reception classes each September. At the end of February each year the committee will meet and use this list to offer places at the school. Little Parndon School has a standard number of 60 pupils per year group. This means that there could be up to 60 children in each year group, with a maximum of 30 children in each class. All children who are five years old between 1 September – 31 August on the first day of each new academic year will be admitted on September.
