About - Normandy Primary School

Normandy County Primary school was founded on a site in Fairford Avenue, Barnehurst in 1952. A Junior School was added to the original Infant School in 1958. In 1965 the School was transferred from Kent County Council to the London Borough of Bexley. In 1984 the separate Junior School and Infant School were combined as Normandy Junior, Mixed and Infants School. In 1990 they were again demerged. In 1993 they amalgamated again to form Normandy Primary School.
