This school was originally opened as a separate school for infant and junior in 1937. In year 1997 the two school was merge and it became Oakthorpe Primary School. The school was known for having a High standard of display facilities. The school is an outstanding school led by an outstanding and inspirational headteacher, supported very effectively by a very committed and hardworking staff.
