Quilters Junior School children moved from their old school into the newly refurbished school along Laindon Road in 1988.

There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. Children Looked After and pupils attending Quilters Infant School are guaranteed a place in Quilters Junior School providing an application is received by the closing date. In the event of oversubscription any remaining places will be allocated in accordance with set out criteria in a priority order. In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances may override the above.
