About - Ridgeway Primary School

The original Junior School building dates from the late 1950s and the school was opened (as a primary school) in 1958. As the school outgrew this building, a new Infant school was opened in 1963 and the two schools became separately managed. Ridgeway Primary School was formed in 1996 following the reorganization of the existing Infant and Junior Schools. Following reorganization into a new primary school in 1996, the new building, providing a link corridor and staff room, was opened in January 1997.
