About - St Andrews Church of England VA Primary School

The School was started as a Dame’s School in the 19th Century and a small red-brick school was later built on land donated by the Lord of the Manor of Totteridge in 1837. The majority of the present structure replaced this building in 1939 and a further three classrooms were added in 1952. One of the Managers, Mr. George Kemp, the biscuit magnate and Lord of the Manor in 1939, donated the hall which is part of the School and bears his name. St Andrew's is a small Church of England school situated on the village green in Totteridge.
