About - St Lukes Catholic Primary School Harlow

The school was opened in 1965 and enlarged in 1966 and 1972. St. Luke’s Catholic Primary School is situated in Harlow, Essex and is under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Brentwood. The school serves the parishes of St Luke’s and St James, a joint Catholic and Anglican parish, and Holy Cross. St Luke’s is a slightly smaller than average primary school. It is one of three Catholic Primary schools in Harlow. St. Luke’s School promotes an outstanding and tangible Catholic ethos

Applications for admission will be considered from parents who desire a Roman Catholic education for their children. Preference will be given to children in the following order of criteria. Applications with brothers and sisters at the school will take precedence within the category in which they fall. Those applications living closest to the school will take precedence to those living further away within the category in which they fall. The school governors intend to admit is 30 and they are the admissions authority for the school who work in partnership with the Local Education Authority.
