About - St Peters Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School

St Peter's Church of England Primary School is situated in a rural setting in the small market town of Coggeshall. We cater for children between 4+ and 11 years old. As a church school, we have close links with St Peter's Church and its clergy. The present building was opened in January 1986

As a Voluntary controlled church school therefore LA is the admissions authority. From September 2011 all children with birthdays from 1st of September to 31st of August were admitted. Children will attend part time in the morning for four weeks then full time. Children living in the priority admissions area (catchment area) at the time of application will be allocated a place at the school providing an application is received by the closing date (unless we have reached our published number).In the event of over-subscription within the above criteria priority will be given to children living closest to the school (determined by straight line distance from home to school) Exceptional medical circumstances may over ride the above.v>
