About - Sunnymede Infant School

It was during the mid 1960's when Sunnymede Primary School that was opened on 4th September 1958 split up into separate infant and junior school. Sunnymede Infant School sharing the same site with the Junior school and has opened an additional Reception class in September 2010 to make it 7 classes.v>

Sunnymede Infant School provides for the full-time admission of all children in the reception year group from the September following their fourth birthday. Parents can request to defer admission until the child reaches compulsory school age in the school year, thus,the school will put on hold the defer entry and not offer and not offer it to another child. The parent would not, however, be able to defer entry beyond the beginning of the term after the child’s fifth birthday, nor beyond the academic year for which the original application was accepted. Morning session only is available for parents opting to take up a part time place until child reach compulsory school age . Admissions will be handled under a co-ordinated arrangement operated by the Local Authority where complete application form must submit on specified closing date.
