About - Tendring Primary School
Tendring Primary School is set in approximately three acres of land, was originally built in 1896. Over the last few years the building has been extended and developed to enhance and improve provision for our school community. The building comprises an atrium, five classrooms, a hall, library, ICT suite, group room, medical room and school offices. The school has large, extensive grounds enable us to offer a wide variety of sports including football, netball, hockey, golf, tennis, basket ball, multiskills and scatterball.

The Local Authority (LA) is the admitting authority for Tendring Primary School. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. In the event of oversubscription places will be allocated following the criteria in the order given. All pupils are eligible to start school in the September of the academic year in which they will be five. Once places have been allocated, there will be induction arrangements for reception pupils at the schools. Applications for admission to other year groups, or at other times during the school year, will be dealt with by the LA.
