About - Tubbenden Primary School

Part of the junior building was originally opened as Tubbenden Primary School in l958 but an increase in numbers led to a separation into two schools in 1963, one for Juniors and the other for Infants. Consequently, Tubbenden Infant School was built at that time. Both schools were highly successful and in 2000 they were chosen to expand from two to three forms of entry. As a result, significant new classroom facilities were added; the Infant extension being completed in 2000 and the Junior ‘Jubilee Wing’ in 2003. n 2004, a decision was taken by the two schools to work more closely in a partnership known as a Federation. After five successful years as a Federation, the two schools amalgamated to become Tubbenden Primary School in September 2009. The school has an established tradition of being a valued and highly respected part of the local community, catering for children betweenthe ages of 4 and 11.div>
