Woodham Walter CofE (V/C) Primary School is an excellent school , founded in 1829 as a church school serving the local community that have close ties with St Michaels Church. The school have a large modern hall, new purpose built classrooms and library.

Children are admitted for full term during the academic year (1st September - 31st August) in which they attain their fifth birthday. The school follows the Local Authority guidelines and admission is base on set of criteria in a priority order. In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by a straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority.
