About - Archbishop Tenisons Church of England High School

Archbishop Tenisons Church of England High School was founded by Thomas Tenison In 1714 for some "ten poor boys and ten poor girls to give them a good education. . The School caters for around 760 pupils, of whom 240 are in the Sixth Form. The school has featured in a number of guides to good state schools and was described as "outstanding" in our 2008 OFSTED Report.
