About - Ashdon Primary School

Ashdon Primary School opened in 1878 and serves the parishes of Ashdon and Hadstock. The school have four classrooms, a Library and music room, an assembly hall, a dining area with a modern kitchen, office accommodation, Staff Room and resource areas and it were enlarged and extensively modernised in 1974.

All children born between 1st September and 31st August is entitled to a full time admission beginning of the academic year in which they their fifth birthday. Completed Common Application Form must be returned to Planning & Admissions by the date stated at the top of the form. Entry is staggered over the first few weeks of term dependent on the age of the child where part-time option is also available as well as the start date to be deferred to later in the term until children reach their compulsary age.
