About - Beths Grammar School

Beths Grammar School, commonly known as Beths, is an all-boys grammar school with academy status in Bexley, south east London, England. Pupils are admitted from the age of 11, with girls joining the sixth form in class 12.In 2005 they were identified as one of the first High Performing Specialist Schools and in January 2006 took on a Second Specialism in Languages. In September 2007 the school was judged to be outstanding by Ofsted. In September 2008 they became a National Leader in Education (NLE) with Beths Grammar a National Support School (NSS). In this capacity we are providing support to one of Bexley’s non selective schools as part of a National Challenge Trust. In April 2009 they became a Leadership Partner School (LPS) as their third specialism which compliments well their NLE/NSS status. There are currently 1201 students on roll, including 403 in the Sixth Form of whom 93 are Girls. The popularity of the school has increased rapidly in recent years and we are heavily oversubscribed for entry into both Class 7 and Class 12.
