About - Bickley Primary School

Bickley Primary School is a Primary school for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 which is expanding to become two forms of entry. There are currently twelve classes, from Reception to Class 6. The School was opened in September 1998, in response to the need for more primary school places in the central Bromley area. It is situated on the Widmore Centre site in Nightingale Lane. The main building was originally a large secondary school for girls and is currently occupied by Bromley Adult Education College and by some of the specialist support services provided by the Local Authority. The school shares the site with these other users and although it is completely self contained, we have developed strong links with our neighbours and are sometimes able to make use of the facilities they offer.div>

Parents can request that the date their child is admitted to the school is deferred until later in the school year or until the child reaches compulsory school age in that school year.
