Broomfield Primary School is a very happy and successful school. It was been commended by OFSTED for it's outstanding pastoral welfare and noted how much our children enjoy their learning. Our children are encouraged to develop enquiring minds that will give them an important introduction to a lifetime of learning.

Foundation Stage will be offered the opportunity to start full time at the beginning of the autumn term. For those choosing to delay full time entry will start part time in September then full time in January.Pupils will be admitted without reference to ability or aptitude. The resposible for the admission is the Governors, but initial application for admission is to Essex County Council through Planning and Admissions, Completed application forms must be received by the LA by the designated date each year, for entry during the following academic year. All applications received by the closing date will be given priority over any applications received after the closing date. Entry into all other year groups all application should be made therought the LA.In the event of classes being full, the school will maintain a waiting list. In case of Over-subscription it will governed and base on set of criteria. For Academic Year 2013/2014 the required number to admit is 45.div>
