About - Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College

The school was founded in 1888 by a small group of French nuns who had come to England in 1860, inspired by the values of their foundress, St Claudine Thévenet (Mother Mary St Ignatius): service, education, forgiveness, family spirit, simplicity and love of Jesus.
