About - East Hanningfield C of E Primary School The Tye

East Hanningfield Church of England (controlled) Primary School is a small village school catering for children aged between 4 and 11 years old. The school was founded by the Church of England in 1876 and we are proud of our links with the diocese. It is situated in the heart of the village, is set within an attractive, secure site, which boasts a covered heated swimming pool, sizeable playing field, outdoor activity equipment, wild life area and gardens. We have large modern well resourced classrooms.

From September 2011 the national admissions policy is that all children can start full time in the September prior to their fifth birthday. Parents may delay entry or request part time education until the term after the child is five.Exceptional circumstances are considered on an individual basis. Our admissions policy is fully inclusive and does not discriminate against disabled pupils. v>
