About - Fairhouse Community Junior School

Fairhouse Community Junior School is well placed to continue on its path of successful improvement. Throughout the school, pupils make good progress overall and outstanding progress in mathematics. Disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs, make similar progress to their peers.

Years 3,4,5 and 6September
The published admission number for 2013/2014 is 60 but still no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. Looked After Children, previously Looked After Children and children attending the partner infant school, who request a place at the junior school will be allocated a place provided an application is received by the closing date. Where more applicants for any remaining places , allocations is provided by set of criteria. In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority except for medical reason may override the rule other than Looked After Children and previously Looked After Children. Waiting list held until end of autumn term.
