About - Fingringhoe Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School

Fingringhoe Primary School is a small village primary school aiming to provide a family atmosphere where each child experiences the space and security that will enable them to flourish and develop to their fullest potential. Each child in our school is known by name to all members of staff and the older children enjoy the sense of responsibility that caring for the younger members of our school community gives them.

Parents who wish their child to attend the school should make a formal application through the co-ordinated primary admissions scheme operated by Essex County Council, using the common application form. Applications for Year R must be received by the Local Authority on or before their published closing date for admission. Published admissions number is 15 for the year commencing 1st September,2013.All children whose 5th birthday falls between 1st September 2013 and 31st August 2014 will be admitted in September 2013.Parents may request delay of entry and part time attendance for their child until child reaches compulsary age and this would normally be afternoons at Fingringhoe.
