About - Freshwaters Primary Academy

Broadfields Primary School and Nursery became Freshwaters Primary Academy on September 01,2013. The school is set in an extensive site and on 1990 a purpose built modern building was erected. The school has an ICT suite, shared activity areas, an extensive library where children can access to variety of books and a hall that is well equipped with large apparatus.

Children born between 1st March and 31st August are currently admitted in the Spring term each year. Where all reception age children will be admitted in the September. The school intended admitting number is 40 pupils in any one year. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. Subject to the availability of places within the schools standard number, school follow set of criteria in given priority order to determined who will be admitted.In the event of over-subscription within the above criteria priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school with those living closest being given priority. Exceptional medical circumstances may over ride the above other than looked after children.
