About - Greensted Junior School

Greensted Junior School is situated in Basildon, Essex. We became an academy on the 1st September 2012, sponsored by Lee Chapel Primary School. The school caters for girls and boys aged between 7 - 11 years and aim to provide the opportunity for each child to reach their full potential and to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge to meet the challenges of a fast-changing world. The original part of the school was built in the 1950's and has been much improved over the last ten years by being substantially modernised and enlarged.div>

Years 3,4,5 and 6September
There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. Where there are more applications for places than the number of places available, places will be offered according to set criterion. In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances may over ride the above.
